Are you passionate about helping young people overcome challenges? Academic Talent is seeking a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to be part of the supportive team.

About the school:

The school focus on 11- to 16-year-olds with social, emotional, and mental health challenges. Small classes (usually around six students) allow for personalised attention, supported by specialist teachers and mentors. The school also aim to equip students for a positive transition, whether to mainstream schools, specialist education, or post-16 pathways.

The role:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll contribute to a positive learning environment. The tailored curriculum covers literacy, personal development, academic subjects, and vocational courses. It assess needs during induction and adjust timetables for individual learning.
